Jean's Day 57: Making a small difference hopefully

Was walking to pole prac after my IPL appt when I got stopped by a guy promoting the Bone Marrow Donor Programme, and he was so relieved when I agreed to the donation scheme (I've signed up with quite a few others already so it's nothing new to me). His supervisor told me I'm the first signee after the whole day, and mind you it was already past 8pm then. I was shocked and a little disappointed to hear that. SGPeans really need to make a little more effort in helping the needy, I feel guilty sometimes that all I do is just monetary donations.  Don't scurry away every time pple approach u on the street, won't hurt to spare a few minutes to hear them out unless it's obvious they're selling products u don't need. Anyway I did feel good helping out that poor guy, I hope he's had better luck since!
