Jan's Day 53: Lace me up and spur me on

Day 53 Happy Trigger: Newfound love for Mika tops and Spur shoes.

I have this thing for laced-back tops, but for reasons I shall not disclose, I hardly purchase these. But now that I've found Mika tops, I'll be adding a lot of these to my wardrobe. Functional pieces that are comfortable AND sexy, they sure speak to my inner vainpot, even if I'll be wearing them under other garments. =P

 Moving on to glorious, glorious shoes, I used to feel that I can afford cheaper wears so that I can buy more when the poor quality ones fall apart. With age and experience, I am now more willing to spend more on good quality shoes that last longer and are more comfortable. After all, my poor feet do have to bear my body weight and move me from point to point, so why not be kinder to them?

Thanks to RL, I've discovered a new shoe brand that also combines comfort with style. Bought a pair of boots and these embroidered slip-ons, and I can't wait to head back for more.

It's official - I'm in love.
